Richard Wallace wins MMA Cage Fight

On Saturday 28th of October, Richard Wallace and his team from Evolution Martial Arts travelled to Wisbech in Cambridgeshire for his MMA Cage Fight at Impact Fight UK 11. Richard beat his opponent, Marcello Seabrook, with a 2nd round Arm Triangle Submission.

Richard stepped into the cage against Seabra who was fighting out of Avaddon in Wisbech, the host club of the event with 35 supporters all travelling to support Richard to his 3rd MMA win. Fighting in the Amateur MMA -76kg, Richard stopped his opponent in 1 minute and 36 seconds of the 2nd round with an impressive Arm Triangle Submission.

The first round was dominated heavily by leg kicks before some ground work with Richard settling into the fight and getting to see his opponent’s strengths and weaknesses. During the break, a quick game plan was set up and Richard carried this out effectively in the 2nd Round. Taking his opponent to the floor with a leg catch before working on his position to get the arm triangle submission.

After Richard’s successful fight in the cage it brings his amateur fighting record to 3 wins and 1 loss but this is alongside an accolade of titles outside of the cage in both MMA and Kickboxing with some of his best achievements including ISKA Vice World Champion (Silver Medal) in MMA and British Titles for a variety of organisations.

Richard was fighting out of Evolution Martial Arts in Boston, Lincolnshire with his team which included his coaches of the night Nesta Baxter and Tyler Atkin.
