10 Adidas CIMAC Superleague Grand Champions for Evolution Martial Arts

On Sunday 27th of November, 15 members from Evolution Martial Arts in Boston travelled to Windsor to compete in the final event of the Adidas CIMAC Superleague 2022. This was the final event of the league and our athletes finished with a fantastic 10 Grand Champions.

Emily Gregory won three Grand Champion titles in the Point Fighting Ladies +65kg, Light Continuous Girls +60kg and Light Continuous Ladies +65kg. Emily also went on to win a Gold Medal in her individual Point Fighting category of on the day. During the awards ceremony, Emily was chosen by the organisers as the “Female Fighter of the Year” which is a fantastic achievement.

Emily Greatrix won three Grand Champion titles in the Point Fighting Girls -55kg, Light Continuous Girls -55kg and Light Continuous Girls -60kg. Further success was had by Emily as she went on to win all three of her individual categories after some exciting fights on the day.

Mackenzie Warrant won two Grand Champion titles in the Boys Light Continuous -63kg and -69kg. Mackenzie was also successful in his categories on the day where he went on to add two further Gold Medals to his achievements after some fantastic fights.

Julia Kusyk won the Grand Champion title in the Point Fighting Girls -32kg. Julia finished the Superleague event with well-deserved Gold and Silver medals in her categories where she fought brilliantly.


Olivia Green won the Grand Champion title in the Point Fighting Older Cadet Girls -65kg. Olivia also achieved a silver medal on the day in her category after an all-Evolution Final against fellow team-mate Emily.


Theo Magalhaes-Ziobro finished the season with two well-deserved Silver Medals. Andrew Gregory, Izabela Kusyk , Jessica Stepien, and Leo Magalhaes-Ziobro, all achieved fantastic Silver Medals in their categories after excellent fighting throughout the competition.

Blake Calisto achieved two bronze medals in his categories whilst Cameron Dales, Jack Greatrix, Jessica Stepien, Leo Magalhaes-Ziobro, and Wiktoria Kusyk finished the year with bronze medals in their categories.

Alejandro Advani achieved a fourth place after some great matches where he secured two wins against strong competitors.

A brilliant end to the competition season for the athletes of Evolution Martial Arts with some excellent results for everyone. A big thank you to the Coaches, Steve for all of the help throughout the year, Lee for the great photography and to the Evolution parents/supporters.
